Changelog

New Additions:

  • Enemies have an attack animation now that they play when in range of the player
  • Enemies have flash red when they get hit
  • Killing enemies may randomly drop a health potion
  • Health potions restore all hearts - use them wisely
  • More sprites (drawn by Arys)
  • Spike traps
  • Level 2 has a lighting system
  • Slime enemies
  • Ranged enemies

Balancing:

  • The player remains stationary while attacking on the ground
  • The player can move while attacking in mid-air
  • One of the Tutorial puzzles is more randomised so it will not be the same every run

Bugfixes:

  • Enemies can no longer detect players miles away from it
  • Player health carries over correctly from level to level
  • Knockback force values adjusted so they're more believable for various enemies
  • Stop the player from being able to move after dying
  • Player and enemy collision boxes are disabled when they die
  • Tutorial level bug fixes
  • Fixed door clipping on terrain
